Strawberry love

I had planned on doing this page of Mitchell and his Grandpa Nick for awhile now. I love the simplicity of it. I bought the kit from Lindsay Jane called "Strawberry Fields"; then she gave away the cute little frame cluster. Made scrapping this page pretty easy as all I did was add the second photo and frame, title, and journaling.

Father's Day 2009

With Mother's and Father's day fast approaching for 2010 - I still needed to get 2009's Father's day scrapped. Here's my layout, I used it for the April color challenge at DSO. Credits here.

A couple new layouts

When I was on vacation I went through alot of my picture files. I had a bunch of duplicates and wanted to get things organized by year. Still trying to catch up on older pictures of the kids. As I went through the photos I put a bunch into different templates to go back and scrap later. So my next couple layouts may be all over the board as far as the time frame goes.

The first is a nice simple collage of the 3 of us in October, I was probably 7 months pregnant with Sophia. We were just horsing aournd in the family room. Template by Kristin's scrap designs from PBP and alpha from MMullens.

The second was from about 10 days ago, Mitchell let go of his kite string in the front yard. Kit is from the daily download at Gotta pixel and template from No Reimer Reason.

Construction continues

Challenge over at PBP to include your house for your layout. Well, so much of Mitchell's first year involved the house addition it was pretty easy to pick pictures.

Truck Blanket

Trying to work on some of the pictures that have a story behind them. I've been going through all my digital pictures from 2004 (when Mitchell was born) up to now. This one captured my eye and was fairly simple to scrap.

Apple guy

Another speed scrap over at The Studio tonight. I love going to these as you never know how your layout will turn out. I think that's a good thing because it makes you do something with your layout that you normally wouldn't have tried.

Finishing up the Easter layouts

Well, I think with these layouts I've finished up the Easter pictures to date. Here is 2004, 2005, 2007, 2008, and 2010 (yesterday - I couldn't sleep last night).

I'm on vacation this week from work, who knows what else I'll get done!
